your invitation to develop a daily practice with us…
coming together in a way that we are designed to…
in connection, in shared experience, with varied stories, feeling into the nourishment that only our bodies, moving in space, can provide.
10:00-10:49am ET (7:00-7:49am PT) every day around the Zoom communal fire (thank you Dan Atchison-Nevel for the phrase), starting June 10th (the new moon and solar eclipse) and finishing on July 28th with acknowledgement of symbolic holidays and moon phases in between. each session’s recording will be available to those who can’t make one or more of the live sessions
proceeds from your donation will go toward ALL 49 organizations, ones close to the heart and chosen by the instructors.

why 49?

in the Buddhist tradition, after a person’s passing, the soul has 49 days to transition to the next life. the living can support in this process through prayer, ritual, and communal practices.

in the Jewish tradition, the 49 days after Passover and before Shavuot result in the counting of the Omer, a daily practice of reflection, meditation, and prayer connecting the body, mind and divine in preparation to receive the Torah.

we will ready ourselves for this 49 day practice much the same way as these traditions do, listening, moving, and reverberating with one another. we will build a nourishing ritual in relationship with each other.

the trailguides
you will meet 49 instructors from a variety of movement modalities including: pilates, martial arts, yoga, movement improvisation, forms of meditation and somatics representations, and some modalities that we’ll just keep as a surprise! we will post the instructors but not the days the instructors are teaching. it’s part of our practice, to show up, no matter what.
